1. Cameron Dawson – Sheffield Wednesday – 28 – Goalkeeper

First up is Cam Dawson who is currently the backup keeper at Sheffield Wednesday but is certainly trying to find a club where he can be the number one at. Matthew Cox heads back to Brentford this summer so they will have a goalkeeper shortage on their hands. Matt Taylor is familiar with Dawson after he won promotion with Exeter City under the Yorkshireman and in that vein, it would make perfect sense to see him at the Memorial Stadium in the summer. Dawson is best at his diving and penalty skills where Rovers have been conceding in their numbers when it comes to set pieces and last gasp errors.

  1. Josh Brooking – Chelsea U21’s – 21 – Centre Back

Brooking is an individual who has shined through the entirety of his time at Cobham but as his contract looks set to expire in the summer, it could be time up for the youngster and EFL clubs will be queuing up to get his signature. One of those teams should be Bristol Rovers who are looking to tighten their defence next season as their up there in terms of goalscoring but in critical moments they could have done with a better defensive performance so that’s the inspiration behind the signing. Academy friend Harvey Vale has just completed his loan spell at Rovers and multiple Chelsea graduates such as Luke McCormick and Josh Grant have settled down in League One so he would have some familiarity in the squad.

  1. Chris Conn-Clarke – Altrincham – 22 – CM

Conn-Clarke is a gifted and talented midfielder who has finally sprung to life under Phil Parkinson at Alty and the numbers do not lie for his goalscoring efforts, and it should certainly earn himself a move to the EFL. Rovers have been looking for the Aaron Collins regen since he departed the Southwest and CCC might just have what they are looking for as with 22 goals this season and undoubtedly defying the odds with Altrincham getting into the playoffs, is this a wildcard for Gas to take a chance on as Matt Taylor has good contacts within the north.

  1. Jack Nolan – Accrington – 22 – LW

Jack Nolan has been phenomenal for Accrington Stanley this season and has been one of the best in a squad which has primarily been within the mid table to relegation battles as the tenure of John Coleman came to an end around March this year, knocking the confidence of the entire squad. However, it is well known that Jack is looking to go back towards the south with his career and could the potential departure of Scott Sinclair be the key to him finding himself in a Rovers kit by the summer? 15 goals and 8 assists certainly has made him a huge target for a lot of clubs across the pyramid.

  1. Kobei Moore – Aston Villa U21’s – 19 – ST – LOAN

Kobei has been one to watch in Premier League 2 this season as he has plenty of goals with 9 goals and 3 assists and gametime to his name and now probably would need a push towards senior football before he can break into the villa squad and once again through Matt Taylor’s contacts with Villa’s academy this could be a match made in heaven for his development and one for Rovers fans to get excited about. Taylor is known for his unusual loans which come across at first as a gamble but work out well and this could be another prime example of this and he gets the best out of young strikers and some of his former players have gone onto big things, including villa teammate Ollie Watkins.
